Quality control of water supplied by large agencies is statutory and based on the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health decree 1352/2015, which includes water quality requirements and recommendations. Water samples are taken regularly according to the monitoring research system of each water supplier. Suppliers that buy their water from another water supplier are also considered water supply agencies.

Information on the quality of drinking water in Hämeenkyrö, Lempäälä, Nokia, Pirkkala, Vesilahti and Ylöjärvi can be found directly from the water suppliers or health inspectors.
